Cow Patties

In a land that is filled with cows and water buffalo - the majority of which roam wherever and whenever they desire - it can only be expected that said land would also have an abundance of cow patties. I believe it might even be considered a natural resource. These patties are used for a variety of things from fuel to roofing material to patching holes in houses. I think they must also use them as 'bricks' to construct houses. Some people stack them in just plain stacks. Others stack them in a decorative overlapping pattern. They are left drying all over yards and fences and much of the unoccupied area is residential or urban areas is covered with drying cow patties. Women and children seem to be the primary gatherers of the chips. They are left to dry. Women carry huge bowls full of them on their heads. Small carts are loaded down with them. Instead of haystacks, many yards have house sized piles of them.
