Christmas and a ring

We had Christmas with Eric and Ashley in Jaipur the first night.

I got Eric and Ashley goofy hats along with a few other goodies.
Eric got a Ranger shirt
Ashley got a Texas shirt
Then Eric gave Ashley a book - she likes books a lot.

He asked her to read the book. The last page says she went to India, met his parents, and he gave her a ring. She was pretty surprised about that.
So, he got down on one knee and popped the question.
She likes it!

This is when he told her he had gotten permission for them to announce it before their jobs end in July.
